Does PIC erase EEPROM values when it program

Hi,

If the PIC erase EEPROM values when it program, I want to know can we avoid it?

Yes, by default. You can specify a different behaviour in MPLAB programmer options.
 

EPIC programmer also do not touch EEPROM by default.
