Hi;

Please, anybody can tell me if Analog Standard Cell library exist ?

I think that Standard Cell exist just in digital design but I am not sure.

I need some links or how to justify this ?

thanks a lot

Re: Does Standard Cell Librairy exist in Analog design

There were several tries to design an Analog Standard Cell Library. But I didn't hear about successfull one.
Usually they are called analog IP blocks or analog macros.

NO. because spec keep changing in analog ckt according to requirement. But in digital block, we had almost fix specification. So, we have standard cell library for simple digital block

what does it mean Analog IP blocks ?

No analog standard cell, which means no analog synthesis, now. Does anyone know which institiute is working on analog synthesis?

There has been few attempts of analog synthesis in past. All EDA vendors are in this race of creating analog cells automatically. There is one company called Barcelona which has a few software which has
a small capability of analog synthesis. In publication
we find ASRX/OBLX or something like that software
which can be used in automating design of DACs and ADCs.. But at the end of the day full analog synthesis is still a distant dream..
