Hello All,
I have a problem.I need to find the direction of rotation of 5 motors from their Hall sensor outputs (3 outputs each).
I understand that Comparing the pattern on the sensor outputs will give its direction,ie each direction will give a repeatable sequence.
I think this can be done with the help of a simple microcontroller like a PIC16.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
Basically I will have a minimum of 15 inputs and possibly 5 outputs (1 for each motor).So that the logic level determines the direction of rotation.
What are the possible ways of implementing this?
Microcontrollers,CPLDS?
