Hello everybody, a need to produce a Digital FM demodulation in matlab but i am a bit confuss, because i have always studied that fm is an analog modulation so why digital?
how can implement the digital fm demodulation?
where can i find the code?
thank you very much

To Be more specific on FM Demodulation in MATLAB,

Follow the steps:
1. Extract in phase (I) and quadrature (Q) components
2. Low pass filter (I_fltr and Q_fltr)
3. inte_mt = atan(Q_fltr/I_fltr)
4. Derivation of inte_mt should give you the FM Demodulated Signal

You need to use the correct Sampling Frequency. Also, you may want to do any down sampling as applicable.

Let me know if you have any specific questions.
