Hi,
Its difficult to find many of these types of caps in quality dielectrics such as X7R or C0G.
Does anyone have a table of all the different dielectrics and their dielectric properties for Y1 and Y2 capacitors?
Why is it that most Y1 and Y2 caps are in poor Y5U, Y5Z and Z5U dielectrics?

isnt because of low cost? But i think some safety capacitors (MLCC) are available in X7R with Vishay ..

I dont know if below information is of any help, its not related to safety type Y1,Y2 but talks in general.
