Hello everyone,

I am required to design FIR filter using Cadence tools for one of the projects that I am currently doing. I would like to mention that I am very new to this and have never done filter designing in cadence. Even have very minimal experience in Filter design in MATLAB.

Thats why I am not covinced even whether this is feasible or not. Like, if I can design the different building blocks of a FIR filter ie. multiplier, adder etc in cadence, and then may be integrating them in proper manner may work.

Am I thinking in the right direction or need to change the approach??
Anybody, having done similar things like this, please share your views.

Thanks in advance,

Indrajit
