HI Friends,

what I am going to ask might be funny but here it is:-

where to start for designing BJT based amplifiers... ?

I have ample experience in amplifiers with MOSFETS...

thanks

As you might be aware before designing any amplifier it is essential to understand the device physics and its I/V characteristics. To start right away designing amplifiers with BJTs, first understand the DC and small signal analysis. Later you may get into Frequency response and feedback and multistage. Its almost similar to designing with MOSFETs ...Two suggested books are 1. Microelectronics by Sedra and Smith 2. Fundamentals of Microelectronics B. Razavi.. Hope this helps..

hey
try to get a hold on an old version of Paul R Gray's fundamentals of analog circuits
its all about BJTs and so helpful
