deringing

Hi,
Can anyone give me some explaination or good papers on MPEG-4 deblocking and deringing? And is there some advice on deringing and deblocking regarding ASIC implementation?

hi,
i am uploading a paper on deblocking filter as used in mpeg4-10.Generally blocking artefacts come due to block based motion compensation to remove them one uses deblocking filters. when sharp cutoff filters are used ringing occurs to prevent this filters are chosen which have smooth rolloff.

deblocking filter is a very important part in H.263 protocal.

It is easy to understand the DBF, and there are a lot of documents available for this. Is there any document or block diagram on the deringing filter?
