Hi,

I need to know by which techniques I can calculate chip capacity. I actually not understand by a sample board available to me. it has 4 SDRAM chips 2 on bottom and 2 on top total capacity is 2GB available But when I look to datasheet of SDRAM I was unable to calculate.

Datasheet link: Page 10.
IC is H5TC4G63AFR
Chip has 256Mb x16 configuration.

**broken link removed**

2nd Question is what do they means by #of banks are they present inside single SDRAM chip or single chip is single bank???

that means if I want to have 2GB of ram I use

1) 4chips x (256Mb x16 configuration)
2) 4chips x (512Mb x8 configuration)
3) 4chips x (1Gb x4 configuration)
