Hi,
Could somebody advice me DC2DC buck PS with wide input voltage range Vin = 30v - 120V output 18v and Iout = 0.5A
Thank you in advance

This kind of project is popular and feasible.

Your power supply needs to able to provide current bursts upwards of 1A.

There are many threads here which discuss buck converters. Have you looked at the list of Similar Threads below?

Yes I reviewed. However did not find useful information

You want to design yourself or you want to purchase any PS?

Look up into the Linear Technologies website. They have many buck controllers with ultra wide input voltage range.

They has LTC3638 but Io=0.25 A only

Yes...Check the page 16, you can use 2 LTC3638's to get 500mA current. It has special pin FBO which enables to parallel the outputs. LT3638_500mA.png

Or this app note has way to increase the input voltage of any BUCK or LDO.

Power integrations (powerint.com) have few families like TinySwitch or TOP switch with MOSFET's with very high voltage capability.
I am not sure whether we can use them as buck. Check with applications team
