data reception from gps-reg

hi all,
i just wanted to know how to receive data from a GPS receiver to a PC.i have given power supply to the module,connected the receiver to my pc through the DB9 connector.
plz help me..

If you have Lassen-IQ or Lassen-SQ GPS receiver module from the world renowned Trimble then you can use the following link to download the software to receive the data and display on PC monitor. Hope this may help you.

i am not able to find out anything in the module except this one "ProGin SR92".kindly help me.

my garmin continually streams data on the RS232 at 4800baud, readable with hyperterminal.

the module will continuously give the o/p serially to PC....for which u can use hyper terminal s/w...check this link for hyper terminal setting

my garmin is not doing so...i have set 4800baudrate at hyperterminal but no data is showing....
can you please guide me....about it
i have worked with hyperterminal before but...
i do not know how to send readable data from garmin gps...infact the gps settings...
