Current Steering DAC .. Resistor Values ?

Well, if I'm to pick a value for the resistance given a load capacitance, I'd try to maximize the resistance while achieving the required speed.

You have two constraints to work with:

1) w3dB = 1 / (R Ctot) where Ctot is the sum of Cload (fixed) and Cpar (proportional with the size of the MOS transistors).

2) I * R = voltage step of the DAC.

boss depends on application..
for what application you wanna develop?

Hi
assume that the output current is constant
so if load is large then we have a large drop on resistor and may it cause that your dac switches or current source goes to triode region.
capasitance load and resistive load are a lowpass filter and can improve or degrade performance of dac depends on your signal and application.
