Hi,
I am working on a borad design which have 5V VCC line coming from external. My normal current consumption of borad is 60mA and I want to limit the input current to 100mA in a case some short happen in the board (say VCC to ground soft short). Initially I thought to use PTCs but I am not getting for my operating temperature range of -40 to 125`C.
Any one have any idea if I can achieve through some electronics circuit or some sort of current mirror circuit arrangent.
I am thinking to use a PNP bjt after VCC power line and do something with the Base drive in case of over current but could not yet realized any circuitery.

Regards,
Umesh
