Hi,

I am trying to simulate a capacitive microstrip structure in cst between 0.1-5 ghz. Although the mesh cells are 52,725, it keeps giving me the warning,

The current settings will probably lead to a very long simulation time.
You may improve the simulation speed by:
1. check the freq. range and unit settings,
2. extending freq range
3. checking the mesh to avoid very small mesh steps

The structure looks fine. It used to have a strange ground but i changed it with a normal full ground and it keeps giving me the same warning. It has two ports and i used waveguide ports.

Any recommendations to speed up the simulation and get rid of this warding?

Hi, You can click button"Mesh" and decrease "mesh line ratio limit" and click "solve"-"frequency range" to decrease.
After that you click button "Transient solver" ang mark in "Adaptive mesh refinement".
I hope that is help for you.:))
