Hi friends,

I am a novice user in Astro and i have a problem to start and working with the labs of Astro.

I unzip the lab file to a directory, and start Astro from the lab directory.

When i tried to run some any commands, even the simple ones, like "load" and "help" I received similar errors.

I believe its not working because I didn't configure Astro to work with the labs (something with the milkyway....???).

Can you give me hints what I am doing wrong?
I am attaching an Astro screen capture to show you the error messages.

Thank you.

Tsahi.

try without quotes, i dont remember properly the syntax of help but load scripts/*.cmd seems to be ok, try that also without quotes.

there is nothing to configure astro with labs, just make sure u give proper paths.

Try
load_scheme "scripts/design_setup.cmd"

Hi,

How is the /tmp space in ur system. It could be that tool ran out of tmp space.
You could try the following:
setenv AVNT_TMP_FILE_DIR your-dir

Or it did is your system according to the Platform specification for the version? Is there a chance of OS corruption?

Thanks,
Daman
