You design and op amp to be always stable. If this is not possible, you still can design the op amp, but it will only be stable for a certain source impedance and a certain load. (I mean a load), I believe if you are designing a system in which the opamp is part of it, consider it in your designs and go right ahead, but if you are only designing one single op amp, it should be stable. always
