Hi, simple question..

Can I place all PMOSs in one Nwell (of course, the body potentials are the same for all PMOS transistors)???
Is this how people usually do? Or, should I separate all PMOS by well?

Thanks

PMOS in Ntub?

Hi
I think that separate well can reduce parasitic resistance and capacitance.

Re: PMOS in Ntub?

Yes you can. sharing wells can introduce noise from neighboring PMOSes[/quote]

Re: PMOS in Ntub?

sharing Ntub does not have good electrical characteristics.

If the PMOS Transistors close each other is static(DC) state, it is better to merge the NWELL. It will reduce the mask error and reduce the latch-up risks.

PMOS in Ntub?

What's the purpose of your transistors?
i think separate or not should depend on your functions first, then we can decide whether or not

yes
it is true.
body effect may be bottleneck.

Re: PMOS in Ntub?

As said before:

If your application permits it, I think it's better ( area-wise and matching-wise) to put all PMOS in one NTUB. This has to be suplemented by vareful simulations to make sure body effect doesn't hurt u.
