i open the gds file in calibre.i want to add text "VDD,VSS" layer on metal for in order to run lvs .how i can do?

calibre layver

You might need other layout tools to do this jobs , such as laker or Virtuoso .
Then verify your design with calibre .
And bye the way calibre also can work with laker or virtuoso .
These layout tools use calibre as offline or online drv , lvs jogs.

HOpe this help .

calibredrv create text

Calibre also has a tool called desginrev that allows you to do this if licensed.

gds editing calibre

thanks to bc70,i can run the tool "calibredrv",can i edit layout in this tool?

calibredrv editable

i hope your answer also, bc70!

As far my knowledge, We use calibre for LVS & DRC checking purpose only. Yes, you can edit the layout in designRev(calibreDRV), but it is advisable that u do it layout editing tool. Virtuoso has well defined Technology file & Library. You can integrate the calibre GUI into Virtuoso, so that u can check your LVS/DRC easier without invoking calibre main GUI.
