Block Interleaver in Matlab

Hi Folks,
I am using matlab block interleaving and de-interleaving function.
intrlv(data,ELEMENTS)
deintrlv(data, ELEMNTS)
How can make my own interleaver for good resuts handling?
What is the row codes for matlab for making intrlv/deintrlv?

I think you need to set the depth of interleaver larger than the coherence time of the channel.
