Hi friends,

I recently brought a Blackfin BF537 STAMP boardwith uClinux ported in it. The board has a JTAG interface. How should i program and debug the board. I know that if the OS gets corrupted while programming, we definetely need the JTAG from the analog devices. The JTAG cable sold by Analog devices is extremely costly and also is the VDSP software.

can we build our own JTAG ???

Please help !!!

Hi ,

You can purchase or build your own jtag. the circuit is provided by analog devices or blackfin.uclinux.org website.

you need to setup a machine having linux on it , toolchain of blackfin for linux etc. on it .
