bit reliability in QAM

As shown in Figure , in the 6 bits of a 64-QAM symbol, different bits with different colors have different reliability, the bits with red color have high reliability, the bits with blue color have medium reliability and the bits with black color have low reliability.

What is "bit reliability" means ? and why the most significant bit has the lowest reliability ?
help plz

This does not seem valid. If you Gray code the data, only one bit will be in error if the constellation point is decoded by the adjacent one. Then use error control code on the data and that bit can be corrected.

I found this explanation but i still can't understand why the most significant bit has the lowest reliability ?
