Which synopsys package include BillGates and powerDesigner Tools?

Hi vaf20:

Bu1ldgates is a synthesis tool from cadence not synopsys, the synthesis

tool of synopsys is Design Compiler. A package named syn is inculde

both Design Compiler and Power Compiler. You can use them, if only

your license have the features for these tools.

buildgate have the power compiler function.
 

With IC5141, can I do all things that buildgates and powerdesigner can do?

I think BuildGates is for Digital design. And IC is for analog design.

In fact, you can use IC design Custom IC(include Digital and Analog).
 

I think BuildGates is used for cell-based design(for digital , Synthesis) and IC is for custom IC design (both digital and analog).
