Hi all,

I locking for good/best GCC IDE for Xindows under linux, similar Visual or borland C/CPP.
Any sugestion is well come.

Thanx

vi is the best. Vim takes second place, if you are looking for a gui. Don't believe anyone that tells you emacs/xemacs kicks butt.

Dont believe him...
There's ha fight over there, you can se it here:

First : w_w_w.itworld.com/AppDev/575/swol-1095-software/

There are lots of em, depends on what are u pretending to do, the most experienced users prefer emacs, vi, even pico...

But asuming that u are not, or just looking for another program. You should see...at leats give a chance to:

kdevelop. I know you have seen this.

qtdevelop. This guy looks a lot vbasic or the other visual thing on wintendo.

glade: I know you have seen this too.

There are others, but I know you probably end using emacs, pico(comes in pine), or maybe but less probaly vi.
