Hi
Can anybody suggest me some algorithms on beam broadening using PSO in MAtlab.
i made one code but it is only modifying sidelobes and not the ain beam

I very much doubt you can modify the sidelobes without modifying the main beam.

I have heard of someone using PSO on Yagi-Uda antennas

https://www.g0ksc.co.uk/

to reduce the sidelobe level, paying no attention to the main beam. The main beam basically sorts itself out, as reducing the sidelobes must put more power into the main beam. This does not lead to an antenna with the maximum possible gain, but very nearly so. But it does result in low sidelobes, which for this particular application, G0KSC is trying to achieve.

What sort of antenna are you trying to broaden the main beam? You are basically trying to reduce the gain.
