Presented project is a test board for microcontrollers AVR Atmega16 and 32. The board was made to check if a program operates properly (to avoid the need for digesting a new board).

Elements on the board:
  • microcontroller Atmega16 or Atmega32
  • temperature measurement on DS18B20
  • port rs485 based on system SN75176
  • eight output channels based on system ULN2803
  • eight channels changing high state into low state based on system ULN2803
  • eight LEDs
  • buzzer
  • potentiometer
  • pulser
  • keyboard (6 miniature buttons)
  • IR sensor on system TSOP31236
  • converter USB->RS232 based on FT232
  • LCD display 2x16

By using a circuit of converter based on system FT232, the microcontroller can be programmed through the USB port, without using a popular programmer USBasp. FT232 is doing very well as the programmer.
Popular headers act as connection between systems and microcontroller.
The test board can be supplied via USB or external power source (such as 12V AC or DC power supply).
