assert check for different duration

Hello

I have assert statement as below for 1.8V device and checking for the time 1ns.

check_ov_vgs_nch assert mod=nch expr="(V(g)-V(s))" min=-vmaxCore max=vmaxCore level=warning duration=checkDurationTime

checkDurationTime=1ns & vmaxCore=1.98V

I was wondering if - I could check for the 'product of - max voltage allowed and the duration' ? Can I do it in the expression statement of assert anyway ?

My thinking behind this is -

Suppose I have 2V device and checking it for 10ns - but what I have 50V device (It may not violate SOA check), so better to check product of the voltage limit and the duration ?

Please let me know if my thinking is correct ?
