Hello!
I want to enable Ascii escape sequences for windows XP.i mean, the escape sequences for moving cursor or clearing the screen. The reason that they don't work is that windows XP isn't dos based. I tried to configure CONFIG.NT but it still doesn't change anything. my book says that something must be downloaded to make em work and i quote

For Win NT and Win 2000, corresponding functions based on system calls are offered for download

any expert out there that may be familiar with my problem?

Hi Lucifre,

i am not exactly sure what you want to do ?,
1) are you writing a console application in winxp ?
2) are you writing unicode app or ansi app ?

let me know the following to help you more ? and what exactly are you trying to do ?
