Atom processors are more powerful than Arm then , why its arm more popular in robotics ? and its more costlier ?

ARM is cheaper? Lower-power than Atom? Easier to construct system with an ARM-based controller / SoC?

For these kinds of applications, I'd think about the only advantage of an Atom is that you can run x86 code on it (which -for robotics projects- isn't a big advantage to begin with). CPU number crunching power serves no purpose if you don't need it, it only wastes energy.
