Hi
Can the antenna efficiency be included in RF link budget calculation? If yes, how? If no, why?
N.B. All online RF link budget calculators don't consider this parameter !!!
Thanks

Solution
To be more precise, directivity of the antenna does not take into account antenna efficiency.
Antenna gain take in account the antenna efficiency but don't take in consideration mismatch losses.
Antenna realized gain take in consideration both, efficiency and mismatch losses.
A good RF link budget calculator should use the realized gain of the antenna.
Antenna efficiency should be already be included in antenna gain.
Note the difference between antenna gain (reduced if low antenna efficiency) and directivity!
