Median value select

Hello,

In analog circuit/ domain, is there a way to output the median value of three variables?
It becomes easy using microcontrollers, but i would like to know if it can be done using only analog circuit (discrete devices, op-amps etc.)

Thanks in advance,

Regards,

bimbla.

Re: Median value select

In principle, it is not a problem to construct an analog active median filter with three inputs. Read the enclosed pdf-document. It contains a comparison of different design strategies.
