Hello,

I created a filter design in AutoCAD and imported it in ADS however I have a problem with the dimensions. My filter contains hexagonal shapes which have 6mm edge length. In AutoCAD everything is fine and every edge is 6mm. When I import this shape in ADS each edge is 146mm and of course the filter doesn't work. Apparently something goes wrong when I import the shape because all the lengths are wrong. What could be the problem? How can I make it right? Thanks 8)8)

Check your Layout Dimension option in Preferences ..
If it's correct, look at DXF/DWG Import Options

In ADS, the unit can be mm, or mil, or inch. Maybe your unit in ADS is inch, so 6 inches=152mm

ADS is set to mm's. Thanks for the answers now I am using IGES format and it imports ok.
