HOW TO SOLVE IT

Hello

I think you are using a calibrated port. This kind of port is used just with transmission line because it is calibrated by extending the line length and deembedding it at the end of the simulation.
In your case, you have to use an internal port. Momentum -> Port -> Property

I MAKE THESE

BUT I THINK SOME FILE MISSED

OK for the simulation. But did you try to change the kind of port you are using ?
The port is the arrow you put at the corner of your structure.

YES I TRY TO CHANG THE STRUCTURE
THE SAME PROBLEM
FOR CITIFILE

I DONT KNOW HOW TO SOLVE

THIS PROBLEM COMING

hi..

One reason could be if u dont have enough RAM it gives the same error.

Other reason may be port must be on Face not on the corner ..

yes, I think the problem is that you can't face on a inersection of two faces, you should only point to one face.

the laptop is new the ram 4gb
I MAKE MANY STRUCTURE WITHE MANY SIMULATION AS SAME PROBLE
OK CAN U GIVE ME SIMPLE STRUCTURE U SIMULATED AND TESTED ITS OK
I CAN TESTED IN MY LAPTOP TO SEE MAY BE SOTHING ERROR IM MY STEPS
THANKS

This not big project only small to test the program
ima biggneier in the program
first time i used
i will upload any project soon
thanks

I have encountered the same problem (no citifiles found) when the number of unknowns are high that ur CPU can't handle...

In order to check that change ur mesh size and see the number of unknowns....

Try changing ur port position also..

May u post the ads layout file.. so as to help u..

MY FRIEN TRY TO INSTALL ADS2009 TO HIS DESKTOP WIN 7 64-BIT
SAME PROBLEM WITH CITIFILE COMING
ALSO HE INSTAL THE PROGRAM WIT WIN 7 32-BIT ITS WORKING WITH OUT PROBLEM
ITS MEAN THE SOFTWARE resistant WITH 6B-BIT

IF THERE SOFTWARE OR SOMTHING FIX THE PROBLE

THANKS

the problem not solved yet
i install win 7 pro 32bit also i install vista home primum 32
not working the simulation
Could not create the dataset
since no citi files could be found.

No comments for RAM problems, my machine runs on Win 7 64 Bit, 8GB RAM, Core i5 2600

but I got the same error "...no citi files could be found"

Just untick "Edge mesh" in Mesh setup. It works perfectly.

Try this:
Start ADS2009
Run task manager (Ctrl+Alt+Del)
In processes tab, find "hpeesofemx.exe" and right click it, choose "Set Affinity"
Untick to reduce CPUs if you have multicore. Simulation should work perfectly with CPU 0 & CPU 1 selected. You can raise CPU number later to check if it still work.(My case works with 6 in 8 CPUs).
Good luck.

HI FOR ALL
THE ADS NOT WORKING ON WIN 7 64-BIT
MY SOLUTION WAS TO INSTALL WIN XP BY USING Oracle VM VirtualBox THEN YOU CAN WORK ON ADS ON WIN7
I TRY DIFFRENT SOLUTION THIS THE BEST

Good luck.

Thank you very much.
