adding series high impedance line

how does adding a high impedance series line move the admittance on a smith chart?
 

Is very dependable by the length of the line. For example if is very short (< 1/20th of λ) it will not move too much the admittance.

Try to find on the net, WinSMITH program. It will make you to understand what happen using different lengths.
