Is there anyone who have used AD5934 with arduino to calculate heart rate?
i need some help regarding this chip

i am not able to read any realistic data using this device

Even if i use a defined resistor, it is showing wrong resistance value

Need help
 

Could my pulse watch be similar to what you're making? I press my finger on a metal plate, and my pulse rate appears onscreen. I have wondered, how can it detect my pulse? All I can figure, is that a tiny voltage differential is generated between my left hand and my right hand. And the watch contains a high-gain amplifier.

I touch the leads of my voltmeter. A few uV often appears. On the ohmmeter setting readings are between 1M and 2M ohms.

A high impedance loop can easily pick up ambient mains hum. You might need to filter it out of your signal.
 

I have wondered, how can it detect my pulse?
Not familiar with your watch, but the medical and exercise industry, commonly use a thing called a "Plethysmograph" to monitor heart rate.

This is usually a simple clip that lightly clamps an ear lobe or a finger, but it would work on the wrist or many other parts of the body.

If you lightly press on your skin with a fingertip, you will notice a white spot quickly forms, that quickly returns to pink when you remove the pressure.
By using a LED and a phototransistor held lightly against the skin, the light reflected from the skin changes as arterial blood pressure pulses through the capillaries just beneath the skin.

By ac coupling the output of the photo transistor, you can recover a quite usable hear rate signal.
