ac threshhold of a comparator

what do we mean by ac threshhold of a comparator?

how can we measure it?
 

Comparators are DC only. to make an AC signal into a digital one we call it an AC slicer usually narrow band signal then BPF removes DC and slices at 50% to get a square wave. But the reference here is 0Vdc for example. so again DC compare only.
