about ADSP-BF548 memory

hello eveyone,

I am new to DSP field. main doubt what i have is

1) is the internal memory of ADSP-Bf548 voltile memory?

2) my friend told that, he is using serial flash to store data since ADSP-Bf548 has voltile memory. is this right?



please i didnt understand this ? please clear me these doubts
