User “kotuniunia” presents his wind generator. It was assumed to be something quite small but have a little output power and be gale resistant. At the beginning, the generator had to be adapted:
To do so, the mechanical appliances from a small asynchronic motor were used with a small adaptation of the suspension of the rotor that was based on changing the gliding bearing into a roller one. Moreover, a new stator coil had to be made. This is the 3-phase coil consisting of 12 coils (corrugated), four coils (one coil has 40 loops of wire 0.7mm in diameter) per phase and phase resistance 3.5 Ω. The coil was star-connected. Whereas the rotor is based on the old one, however it was lathed and covered with 48 10x5x2mm neodymium magnets. On its sides, micro turbines were made in order to cool the stator coil. This is a 4- pole rotor. The propeller was made of PCV profiles. The forgings were made by hammering metal plates on the wood flooring

Next it had to be balanced statically and dynamically. A 1.5 kW drill was used to balance it dynamically. It also served to determine the mechanical strength of the device part. Another component to be made was gondola. Here you can see the stages of assembly of bearings and connecting the power supply downward.
6000Z bearings, the pivot is a stout-walled tube (2mm) 10mm in diameter, the gliding rings are the old adjusted bridge commutator adapted from the vacuum cleaner agitator.

The metal fittings had to be fixe on the PCV pipe of the gondola to be strengthen the construction.
The last finishing touches and depolishing before painting. The device looks like this after finishing and trial mounting on the stand:
The generator itself reached the max power of 84W and was charged with a bulb, through which current with the 3.5A amperage and 24V voltage was flowing. The propeller is high-speed and does not make noises. In principle, it will work in 12V application.
