Hi,

Are there any constraints for rotating macros (which are manufacturing related) in 65nm and below technologies? If so please explain.

thankz

65nm Macro Orientation

according to me there shold be no prob in rotating as long as they are according to the design requirments.

I suppose ur using the same tech for whole chip.

let me know if u have heard of any probs.

65nm Macro Orientation

in 65nm below, the process makes many contraints in order to help the fab to achieve high yield.

macro like memories have the constraints of orientation is one of the case.

this constraint is derived by OCP, PSM and CMP etc.
