I have a 3 pin bosch alternator that I want to spin with an AC source power. How do I connect the 3 pin alternator with a 4 terminal capacitor before switching on the AC source power supply to turn the alternator?

The alternator has built-in 3-phase-rectifier and doesn't expose armature windings to external terminals. Need to modify the alternator to get access to internal generator terminals. Also consider that field winding is connected to voltage regulator must be supplied to run the machine as motor.
Finally, a 3-phase machine has symmetric windings, not designed for capacitor run. Have you any indication that 20 uF is suited as run capacitor for this machine? I would expect much higher value.
