Hey all,
I am designing a three channel mixer for mobile use (like ipod + ham radio + cell phone.) I had a few questions. First, there seems to be little info anywhere about what input resistor values to use. I know that the shunt resistors in first set the input impedance but what values are good. The input potentiometer is a 100K unit so would you go off that or what. Also how do you select equalizing resistors for the summing of the signals.

Secondly, I had originally planned on using emitter follower amps for summing and then common emitter amps for the output. However that is a lot of amps and transistor matching. Is there any way to sum and amplify all with one amplifier (probably AB class as it is battery powered), any tips and or tricks to that?

Thanks in advance
