oscilator circuit

Hi all.....

Has anyone got a design for a Oscilator circuit that generates a 2MHz square wave that they would not mind sharing.

Thanks a mil!!!!!!....

Cheers,

AK

2mhz crystal oscillator

Please check following site :
www.discovercircuit.com

2Mhz sqare can be easily generated using crystal oscillator and some gates.

One sample circuit is attached.

"Could not attach the sample circuit as it had some extension that was not permitted by the forum ,will try to convert it into jpeg soon and forward you "

Enjoy !!!

crystal oscillator 2mhz

you can use the 555 timer from national semiconductor. in their datasheet, they have a oscillator wired up.

Code:
http://cache.national.com/ds/LM/LM555.pdf

if the output isn't nice, you can put it through a inverter to get a cleaner square wave.

oscilator 8,2mhz

The simplest way may be the invertor with 2MHz crystal connecting to in/out of the invertor.
