hi
i need a circuit diagram for 0.5VDC to 6.0Vdc (boost convertor).

if u simply want to make 0.5 to 6v then use a simple opamp amplifier with gain 6/0.5=12

**broken link removed**

there are different types of converter in this site. hope it help. I am currently designing a buck converter as well.

How about the drive capability of your output voltage? If you need high drive capability,a DC/DC or a charge pump would help you.But I think it's a hard work for a DC/DC to do the job.

boost converter need

Amlifier circuit..
simple ON/OFF transistor circuit

choice depends on nature of your signal

Thanks

u could use opamp but it depends upon ur current requirements

if u r using less then 50mA then ok
but if more then u need very high quality fabrication but it is also upto some extent

It really depends on your output current requirements. You can use a regulated charge pump or an inductor-based boost (step-up) converter. A regulated charge pump is only useful up to a few mA and is relatively inefficient. Are you designing an IC or are you designing a power supply? You can buy boost converters from companies like Linear Tech, Maxim, National, etc.
