How to determine PSRR of LDO by using Hspice? Who can tell me affect of PSRR in LDO design? How is the PSRR for the good LDO?

Re: PSRR of LDO

add ac source in power supply source and do ac analysis

Re: PSRR of LDO

The same with op design.
<-90dB is good.

Re: PSRR of LDO

The PSR of the LDO will depend on the application. If you are supplying an Analog part of the chip, you'd probably need the LDO to have high rejection at the frequencies where digital clocks operate. The exact value depends on system specs.

I think PSRR<-90dB is very difficult

What frequency is used for PSRR<-90dB ?
It is important !

PSRR of LDO

Normally, 70db for 10KHz should be very difficult to get. This type should be used for low noise rf blocks.

Re: PSRR of LDO

I need a wave of PSRR_vs_Frequency.
I must use what command in Hspice.
70db or -90db? Not the same.
And, what is PSRR mean? Can you explain for me?
Thanks.

PSRR of LDO

add a AC source to the supply, and then do ac simulation, plot output ac voltage over freq
