I dont mind doing my own research but right now I am not sure what i am even looking for. What I need to do is send a high/low signal (from a sensor) to a board with a 555 timer to stop the clock (stopwatch). I dont know where to start I would think it would be relativaly simple to just send a 1 or 0 compared to audio modulation and clear the reset on my 555. My sticking point is the sending and recieving of this flag wirelessly (wouldnt be a problem if i kept it wired). Just a link or a name of a chip/circuit (the simplier the better) would help me out significantly. Thanks in advance to any who respond and let me know if the description isnt clear enough.

Hi Karkov,

Sending Wirelessly 1 or 0 is not a big issue but the 'range' could be an issue.

You should need these things for a short range

1. FM transmitter & Reciever
2. FSK Modulator & Demodulator
3. Transmitter and Reciever Antennas

Antennas Should be HAlf wave dipole / monopole etc... for simplicity.
Arrange FM transmiter and FSK Modulator/Demodulator Ic's Whose Output should be 0/1. You may find these low priced componentson internet.

In my opinion this is the possible Solution.
