Hi all,

I need to design a comparator which need to operate in 0.6V to 1.6 V range and offset free. Comparator is differetial in architecture. Please suggest me some reference papers for the same.

Thanks in advance for the suggestions.

It is impossible for offset free. It is possible for small offset. The design for comparator is similar to opamp.

offset free is impossible! but we can reduce offset by using design techniques.

good luck!

LOL.....No analog designer expects ideal behaviour. I might have used a typo there but I dont expect such answers please.

Thank You.

I think you can refer to the <<data conversion principle>> by razavi.
it's a collection of papers.:)
for less offset, the auto-zero is neccessary.

the paper "Circuit Techniques for Reducing the Effects of Op-Amp Imperfections: Autozeroing, Correlated Double Sampling, and Chopper Stabilization" maybe will be helpful
