Ferrite core information

Actually I am trying to design a Induction Heat machine. I need information about the calculation of section of Ferrite core to manage the necesary power. The machine will work to 50khz or up. Thanks brothers.

Hi,

You can find that information in most books of power electronics, as:

4.Mohan/Undeland/Robbins “Power Electronics, Converters, Applications and Design”, 2º Edition, Wiley 1995.

However, on specific book is :
Colonel Wm. T. McLyman “Transformer and Inductor Design Handbook” Second Edition, Marcel Dekker, Inc. 1988

among others.

You should use the area product or core geometry oproach to get the required core dimensions.

books

If you search the internet used book sites you will find entire books on the subject of induction heating. It is a very tricky and nonintuitive area.

Ferrite core information

So Power supply cookbook

That's nice boot for switching power supply design.

You can see information for ferrite design

Added after 1 minutes:

Also You can use design programs from magnatic-inc
