I want to design a cavity filter
Parameter:
(Frequency Range) 1900~1915 MHz
Insertion Loss ≤1 dB
Ripple in Band ≤0.5 dB
VSWR ≤1.2
Rejection ≥27dB@1895MHz
≥27dB@1920MHz
Connector N-Female
can you give me some suggestion?
thank you in advance:?:

I need help

any one know?

Re: I need help

A cavity filter used the cavity to provide a resonance, determined by the resonant mode in the closed filter. I'd start by looking at

1-Coupled resonator filter design. THis is older stuff, the relevant papers are probably from the 60's.

2-Coupling energy into and out of the filters without disturbing the fields.

3-Resonator Q requirements. THis will probably come out of 1.

On the other hand, you might also look at the ARRL (American Radio Relay League) to see if they have any ham radio publications on cavity filters.
