I WANT TO KNOW A CHIP PART NUMBER FOR ANALOG DEMULTIPLEXER

I HAVE 5 ANALOG SIGNALS TO DGITIZE SO I WANT TO SELECT A SIGNAL TO BE CONNECTED TO AD THEN SELECT OTHER ONE

I KNOW ABOUT DIGITAL DEMULTIPLEXER

BUT I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT ANALOG SIGNALS DEMULTIPLEXER

PLEASE HELP ME

Are u sure u wanna demultiplexer or multiplexer.
because 5 signals can digitize after multipexing t through a analog mux and then feeding it to a A/D converter.

Multiplexer: MPC506A
A/D converter u can use
MCP3208:12-bit serial A/D converter

Try IC on "analog switch".
They act like a mechanical switch.
Make of semiconductor, and can conduct analog signal.
You can make use of the IC to multiplex your signal
to the desired input channel.
One such switch is
ADG451, ADG452, ADG453, ADG511, ADG512, ADG513, CD4066BC
There are many other analog switch IC from different manufacturer.
I find ADG series from company "Analog Device" quite ok.
Newer IC could have been in the market now and perform better.
I have not tried the newer IC yet.

Hi,
U can directly use an ADC with 5 or more input channels. U can avoid using switches or Muxes in Input because these make hardware complexities as well as signal problems. By using 5 channel ADC u can directly select channel from ADC itself.
If u r using a micro controller in ur circuit, then select a microcontroller having inbuilt ADC with 5 or more input channels.

Thanks
