i am trying to build this el cheapo pic programmer by myke predko. i just want to know if anybody has use this before, and what are there comments? also if there are any links on the software support for this programmer. thanks in advance
 

yes i have made it and it works fine.. just follow everything down to book and you shall get it...
 

it works but you might as well try the PPWIN programmer though

thanks for the circuit attachment. BTW, what about the software support for this one, can i use ICprog for this or do i need to use another one? if i can't use ICprog, any links on the software? also what PIC series can it support? thanks again, kabayan.
 

hi. i was able to make this work with ICprog but only with the 16f84a. i tried using 16f877a, no luck. any help is appreciated. still getting verify error at 0x00. thanks in advance.
