Hi, ttc,

you should find a simulator for your vhdl files, such tools are provided by synopsys and other EDA company; and your topic is about digital design.

use google.

good luck

Why not use verilog? Verilog is popular than vhdl.

Re: new designer

Hi

Checkt out whether they have free versions (student version) so that u can ur code ...

Re: new designer

HI
Verilog is easier and more popular than VHDL.
In both cases you will need a simulator to test.

Re: new designer

u down loas the max plus -2 from altera r modelsim for student version.
if is available on net

Re: new designer

you can try modsim, verillog_xl,ncverilog,quartus,ise,and so on; any of them are popular used;

Now you should have a suitable simulator, I recommend the software " active-hdl" which provides many sample codes and toturials. Please check "www.activehdl.com" for details.

Re: new designer

i recomended using QUartusII web edition software from altera. you can download it freely from their website.
